Who we are
Playhite is a creative and digital growth agency working with businesses in the UK and USA. You can reach us at info@playhite.com.
What we collect and why
- Enquiry and booking forms. When you request a quote, contact us or book a consultation, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name and project details. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our services.
- Where you came from. Our forms note how you arrived at the site (for example, from Google, a social platform or an advertisement) so we can understand which of our marketing actually works. This is recorded from the page address — no extra personal data is gathered.
- Analytics (optional). With your permission, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are helpful and which aren't.
- Marketing measurement (optional). With your permission, the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) tells us whether our advertising leads to real enquiries, so we can improve it and avoid showing you irrelevant ads.
- Essential cookies. A small number of cookies keep the site and its forms working and remember your privacy choices. These cannot be switched off.
Consent and your choices
Visitors in the UK and Europe are asked to choose before any analytics or marketing cookies are set — and "Reject" is as easy to press as "Accept". Visitors elsewhere can opt out at any time. You can change your choices whenever you like via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops further tracking immediately; it does not remove data already collected lawfully, which you may ask us to delete (see Your rights).
We retain your choice, the time, a random visitor reference, region and the version of the notice shown. Earlier acceptance remains in your local choice history when you withdraw; enquiry records reference the choice at submission. The current notice version is 2026-10-24-v2: Google receives page/activity data for analytics, and Meta receives page/activity and successful-enquiry events for advertising measurement and optimisation, only when permitted. We do not send email addresses, phone numbers or customer matching identifiers to these platforms.
Our advertising clicks and impressions are counted by the ad platforms regardless of your cookie choice — that counting happens on their side and is outside this site's control.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data. Information is processed only by the providers needed to run this site and measure our marketing: our website platform and database provider (hosting and form storage), Google (analytics, with your consent) and Meta (advertising measurement, with your consent). Some processing may take place outside the UK/EEA; where it does, we rely on the providers' approved transfer safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept while we handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, then deleted. Cookie-consent records are kept as long as needed to demonstrate that your choice was respected.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to how it's used. Email info@playhite.com and we'll respond promptly. If you're in the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes
If we change how we use data — for example, when analytics or advertising measurement is switched on — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
